Interested in joining our 2024 program?
If you’re feeling called to guide others to find their center, explore themselves on the mat, and embrace the possibilities of yoga, let us help you develop the skills to feel comfortable and confident in teaching.
Our in-depth instruction will help you expand your awareness, add to your knowledge base and provide you with a community to explore the teacher (and person) you want to be. There will also be opportunities for you to practice teaching in a small group setting throughout the ten-weekend program so you can fine tune your craft and delivery. This is a hybrid program, meaning you will be able to complete portions online, as well as in-person contact hours- offering you flexibility with your learning.
If you’re unsure if teaching is for you, our program is also an amazing opportunity to give depth to your personal practice and broaden your understanding of yoga. Through movement, stillness, mindfulness + meditation, we can all come hOMe to ourselves- so don’t wait to reap the benefits of opening your next chapter!
If you’re ready to welcome a challenge, and open yourself and others to the possibilities of yoga, come be a part of our community!

Why Pick The Yoga & Bodywork Collective?
*Beginning in 2024, Our Training Will be Hybrid With Online Hours As Well as In-Person Contact Hours.*
Calm Setting
Avoid the traffic and intensity of the city, and get your 200 hour certification at our gorgeous studio in the tranquil, grounding mountains of western North Carolina.
Affordable
Our program is more affordable than any other we’ve found in the Southeast.
Accessible
If you’ve wanted to try a yoga teacher training program but felt like you weren’t up to the challenge, know that our course is accessible and realistic, for all ages, body types, and levels of experience.
At WYC, we offer real yoga for real people: making yoga accessible for you.
It’s not about forcing your body to look a certain way in a particular shape; it’s about learning how to express the poses in your body, safely and comfortably. It’s about how it feels and how it can cultivate health and wellness for your whole being: physically, mentally, and emotionally.
No Dogma
Although Yoga originated in India thousands of years ago and is typically associated with Hinduism, Yoga isn’t a religion – and we don’t make it one! While Yoga acknowledges the unseen presence of spirit or soul – and seeks to reconnect body & soul – we don’t adhere to any particular dogma.
Some YTT programs incorporate yoga’s religious traditions into their syllabus and teach it along with the other course material. While we respect everyone’s spiritual path and honor the lineage of yoga science & philosophy, we don’t endorse or teach any dogma.
Teaching Practice
We’ve gotten feedback that some other YTT programs don’t offer enough (or any!?) actual practice in teaching yoga. These students learned and experienced a lot, but they graduated from those programs feeling woefully unprepared to actually teach.
Our graduates appreciate getting lots of practice leading a class – both in and outside of the group – giving them the confidence, tools, resources, and support to start teaching upon graduation (if they choose).
