Cydney has been a student of yoga since the early 2000s. She has studied Iyengar, Ashtanga, Anusara, Vinyasa Flow, and Power Yoga. Cydney is an active runner, she lifts weights and she has hiked most of the trails in WNC!
Cydney believes that the practice of yoga blends the physical and spiritual in a way that offers positive effects on overall health. She hopes to create an environment for students that is supportive and free from judgment. Cydney is a school psychologist and has been in the mental health field for many years. She has an interest in energy work, breathwork, and mental health awareness. She brings a focus to how yoga can positively impact personal empowerment to all of her classes.
Cydney became a RYT 200 through Waynesville Yoga Center, and enjoys teaching Power classes, Vinyasa Flow classes, as well as Beginner classes for those who may be intimidated to try yoga!
